Not what I was looking for

By DOCFOS

Glove sounds good for the $50 price, but the leather just wasn't as nice as I was expecting. It seems stiff, the lacing was not high end, HOH quality as it is marketed. I chose to go with a pro taper glove from Dick's Sporting Goods for $90, which is a much higher quality. Good feeling leather more like my Rawlings w/ pro lacing. If you oil the glove up good it would be passable for the kid playing rec league but not a serious junior/senior league player like my son. That is probably the reason the glove is on close out and only returnable for store credit.

Great

By Dad

I actually purchased this glove for myself based on a review from someone who said an adult with smaller hands could get a quality glove for a very good price. I took their recommendation and the quality does feel good. The fit is tight for me but fits my sons hands well, but the weight will be a little heavy for him at the moment so I will pass it on to him next season or so. By then, the glove should be well broken in. Great fit for smaller hands for sure. Palm padding is really good. Break in period shouldn't take too long, wasn't that stiff. As for age recommendation, I would say a stronger kid at 7 could use this but 8 and older would be more ideal.

Dads - buy this glove

By 701dad

Listen, for dads in a bit of the know, this is straight up HOH Rawlings leather on the red parts - GG on the black. It's completely legit. Finger stalls are narrow and fit my small 10 y/o well. Good palm pad. It does take some commitment to break in...but that's half the fun right? The red is a little more red-ish than I expected. Looks fine though. At this price, it's an absolute steal! Google coupon codes and find yourself an additional 10% off. Seriously though, this is a top quality glove shrunk down...for 1/2 the price they should be charging. This is also the first review I've ever posted online about a product. That says a lot right there.

Awesome youth glove

By 808dad

Got this glove along with the 11 inch kip leather Rawlings pro taper for my son. You definitely can't beat the price and quality of these youth gloves. Same type of leather on the adult gloves go for several hundred while the prices on these glove are amazingly low. My son is now 9 and has been using his glove since he first turned 8. Fit his hand perfectly.
