When it comes to choosing a softball bat, it is important to remember that Fastpitch Softball Bats differ greatly from Slowpitch Softball Bats. The barrel end of the shaft on fast pitch bats results in a smaller "sweet spot". Slowpitch bats tend to be heavier.
